Terms and Conditions

Welcome, and thank you for choosing The Slow Life Naturopath. To ensure the best possible care and a smooth experience for all clients, please review our terms and conditions below.

1. Appointment Bookings

  • Booking Methods: Appointments can be booked via our online booking system or by contacting us at theslowlifenaturopath@outlook.com. Please note, appointments are not confirmed until acknowledged by The Slow Life Naturopath.

  • You will also need to pay 50% of the appointment fee when booking your appointment. With the remaining 50% due before your appointment, a reminder will be sent out the day before. Please note Monique will not see you if the full appointment fee has not been paid.

  • New Client Application Forms: New clients are required to complete and submit the 'New Client Intake Form' at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Please ensure all information is accurate and up to date.

  • Personal Health History: Accurate and up-to-date health information is essential for effective naturopathic care. Any recent blood tests (within the last three months) should be submitted 48 hours before the appointment. Blood results or new patient forms submitted on the day will not be accepted unless previously discussed with Monique.

2. Arrival Time

  • Arrival: Please arrive to yout telehealth consult at least 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow for any necessary paperwork and to ensure the session starts on time.

  • Late Arrival: If you arrive late, the session may be shortened to avoid delays for subsequent clients. The full consultation fee will still apply.

3. Rescheduling Appointments

  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the time to another client.

  • Rescheduling Fee: If an appointment is rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice the full appointment fee will apply.

4. Payment for Services

  • Payment & Security: All payments processed through The Slow Life Naturopath website are securely handled by Stripe. We do not store or have access to your payment details. For more information, please review the Stripe Security Policy.

  • Booking & Payment Terms:

    • Initial Consultation: 50% of payment is required at the time of booking the initial consultation with the remaining 50% due before the appointment on the day. If the appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the 50% payment will be retained.

    • Follow-up Consultations: An invoice will be issued after follow-up consultations. Payment is due within 24 hours of receiving the invoice.

5. Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may require changes to your appointment. Please review our cancellation policy below:

  • Cancellation Notice: We ask that you provide at least 48-24 hours' notice if you need to cancel your appointment, as we prepare in advance for your consultation. If 24 hours notice is given you will get the full amount of what you paid back if you decide to cancel.

  • Late Rescheduling: Appointments rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a 50% rescheduling fee.

  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows will incur a 100% fee of the consultation cost.

6. Cancellation Fees

  • No-Show Fee: Failure to attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in a no-show fee equal to the full cost of the appointment.

  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows will incur a 100% fee of the consultation cost

7. How to Cancel or Reschedule

  • Contact Information: To cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible at theslowlifenaturopath@outlook.com.

  • Emergency Situations: We understand that emergencies may arise. Exceptions to this policy can be made on a case-by-case basis but please note when you give us little notice we miss out on that spot being filled by a patient who may need it, which also includes the practitioner not getting paid.

8. Payment of Fees

  • Payment Obligation: Cancellation fees and no-show fees must be paid within 48 hours of the missed appointment to ensure future bookings are not affected.

  • Rebooking: To reschedule a cancelled or missed appointment, a new booking must be made and any applicable cancellation fees paid.

9. Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately and will be communicated to our clients. Updated policies will also be available on our website.
